Stars in College: Camara, Bloyou, Dahn Shine in Weekly Recap

Several Stars from our men’s First Team were in action for their respective colleges last week.

University of Louisville freshman forward Aboubacar Camara was the STAR of the week after scoring in both the Cardinals’ two games.

Penn State University senior forward Danny Bloyou was also on the scoresheet for the Nittany Lions against American University while Saint Joseph’s University graduate midfielder Alvin Dahn had an assist in the Hawks’ loss at Cornell. junior.

(Monday, August 30 – Sunday, September 5)

TEMPLE UNIVERSITY
Eoin Gawronski (R-Fr., GK) started in the Owls’ 1-2 (2OT) loss at home against Villanova on Saturday while Cesar Ripa (So., D) and Goodwill Agbaadem (Jr., GK) missed the match.

SAINT JOSEPH’S UNIVERSITY
Alvin Dahn (Grad., M), had an assist in the Hawk’s 1-2 loss at Cornell University on Friday. Alex Hartmann (Jr., D) was started but Michael Mullins (Jr., D) missed the match.

PENN STATE UNIVERSITY
Danny Bloyou (Sr., F) scored in the Nittany Lions’ 3-1 win at home against American University last Monday and was also involved in their 2-1 win at University of Pennsylvania on Friday.

RUTGERS UNIVERSITY
Moussa Sabaly (So., F) missed both of the Scarlet Knights’ matches last week.

UNIVERSITY OF DELAWARE
Alvin Halley (Jr., D) played in the Blue Hens’ 0-4 loss at home against Monmouth on Tuesday but missed the 0-1 loss at Elon University on Saturday.

LOYOLA UNIVERSITY MARYLAND
Marco Bla (So., M) played in both the Greyhounds’ 0-0 (2OT) draw at West Virginia last Monday and the 1-3 loss at Providence on Friday.

UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON
Forster Ajago (Jr., F) started in both the Flyers’ 2-0 win at home against Detroit on Monday and the 0-3 loss at home against Western Michigan on Friday

UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE
Aboubacar Camara (Fr., F) scored in both the Cardinals’ 1-3 loss at home against Kentucky on Tuesday and the 3-0 win at home against Wake Forest on Friday.

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA UPSTATE
Hayden Anderson (Jr., D) played in the both the Spartans’ 0-0 (2OT) draw at College of Charleston on Wednesday and the 3-2 (OT) win at Furman University on Saturday.

UNIVERSITY OF WEST ALABAMA
Maxime Correia (Sr., F) played in both the Tigers’ 0-4 loss at University of Tampa and the 1-0 win at home against Saint Leon University on yesterday.

SOUTHWESTERN COLLEGE
Mamadou Diarra (So., F), Derrick Hayes (Jr., D) and Mohamed Tall (So., D)  were involved in the Builders’ 2-2 (2OT) draw at Texas Wesleyan last Monday.

WILLIAM PENN UNIVERSITY
Aaron Keita (Sr., D) played in the Statesmen’s 0-3 loss at home against Colombia on Saturday.

LYNN UNIVERSITY
Elliott Alain (Fr., F) played in the Fighting Knights’ 3-1 win at home against Florida National on Friday but missed their 1-0 win at home against Florida Southern yesterday.
