Philadelphia, PA (April 29, 2019) – Philadelphia Lone Star FC is pleased to announce that Planet Fitness will be the Official Gym Partner of Philadelphia Lone Star FC Women for the 2019 WPSL season.
As part of the partnership, our WPSL players will have access to Planet Fitness’ new location on S. Columbus Boulevard in South Philadelphia as well as access to other Planet Fitness locations outside of Philadelphia while the team is away for games.
The agreement will also see Planet Fitness branding at all our WPSL home games at the South Philadelphia Super Site via pitch-side banner and on all of the team’s official interview backdrops.

“They have been very understanding about our needs as a team. It is key for our players to get personal work-outs and to maintain their fitness going into our season and throughout the regular season. We are looking forward to working with Planet Fitness in our inaugural season in the Women’s Premier Soccer League.”
Philadelphia Lone Star FC Women begin their preseason next week with their first preseason game at Hamilton Elite scheduled for Thursday, May 9th at 6:30 PM in Mays Landing, NJ.
