Philadelphia Lone Star FC-Liberia forward, Emmanuel Sumo, has been named to the Liberia Men’s U20 National Team for the upcoming Mano River Union U-20 zonal tournament.
Sumo, 16, has been exceptional for the Stars in Liberia, scoring five (5) goals with three (3) assists in 11 appearances despite their disappointing run in their inaugural season in the Second Division.
Liberia U20 will play Sierra Leone U20 in a best-out-of-four tournament from 18-25 February at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville, Liberia:
- Sun 18 Feb: Game #1 @ 4pm GMT/11am EST
- Tue 20 Feb: Game #2 @ 4pm GMT/11am EST
- Fri 23 Feb: Game #3 @ 4pm GMT/11am EST
