YOUTH & HIGH SCHOOL

Bla was born in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire and immigrated to the United States in 2012. He joined the Philadelphia Union Academy during the 2015-16 season after being discovered playing for his middle school team at Penn Wood Middle School in Darby and was invited to the USA U-16 National Camp in 2016.

Bla, a holding midfielder, was part of the 2019 graduating class at YSC Academy while playing for the Philadelphia Union Academy. He was featured in the short film Earn Your Place: Inside the Union Academy that was released early 2017.

COLLEGE SOCCER

Bla is currently a freshman at Old Dominion University where he started in all eight games for the Monarchs during the 2020-21 season.

CLUB SOCCER

In 2019, Bla joined Philadelphia Lone Star FC and was an integral member of the First Team that finished as the 2019 NPSL Keystone Conference finalists.
