Kutu-Akoi makes Liberia’s U20 WAFU Cup Squad

Philadelphia Lone Star FC young winger Kanibah Kutu-Akoi made the Liberia squad for this month’s WAFU Under-20 Cup in Guinea as announced by the Liberia Football Association late last night.

In a release by the LFA, Kutu-Akoi is included in the 18-man squad which left Monrovia this morning to Guinea for the tournament. He was among nearly 40 players invited for the camp where trials were held.

While in Guinea, Liberia will play Guinea-Bissau on November 25, Gambia on November 27 and Mali on December 2. If they advance from their group, they will play the semi-finals on December 5 and the final on December 8.
