The fixtures for Junior Lone Star FC-Liberia have been released and the Stars in Liberia kick off their 2019 LFA-Montserrado Sub-Association Third Division League season this Saturday against last season’s fourth division champions and newly-promoted third division side Habiba FC.
Last year, the Stars in Liberia missed out on promotion to the second division in their inaugural season but would be looking to improve this season after bringing in a new coach, Ben Davies, who have already added eight new players to the squad this season.
The new players brought in include: Solomon Stephen, Baccus Dolo, Prince Chea, Alexander Giddings, Melvin Gibbs as well as free agents Kuku Wreh, Alex Gucci, and Solari Wilson. Three more new players will be added to bring the total of new players to 11 that will join 17 returning players to complete the 28-man squad for the season.
JLSFC-Liberia were drawn in Group B and will play nine matches during the 2019 season:
