Philadelphia Lone Star Men’s First Team is a professional-development soccer team that competes in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), and the USL League Two (USL2).

The NPSL is one of the largest established men’s soccer leagues in the United States with over 90 teams competing across the country. The NPSL’s cooperative and turnkey ownership platform has led to its explosive growth, countless player development opportunities, and commitment to grow the game in the United States.

The UPSL was founded in 2011 and currently includes more than 300 teams Nationally. The UPSL is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA, with 400-plus teams targeted for 2021 Season. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated and is responsible for maintaining UPSL minimum standards at all tier levels.

USL2 is the leader in pre-professional soccer in the U.S. and Canada. League Two is more than the leading national pre-professional league. League Two is the defined and proven pathway for players to progress to the ranks of professional soccer, while its clubs become fixtures in the communities where they operate. The League holds a vital role as it continues to provide the elite platform for those pursuing professional careers domestically and internationally.

In 2022, the First Team will be returning for their 9th season in the NPSL, 1st season in the UPSL Premier, and 2nd season in the USL League Two.

The Stars also compete in the USASA National Amateur Cup via the State level in Eastern Pennsylvania as well as the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup (via local qualifiers or league qualifiers).
